Welcome to Lighouse Christian School
Who We Are
Lighouse Christian School was founded by Paul Labuschagne, a devoted follower of Christ and founder of Lighouse Furniture, which proudly sponsors and supports the school’s mission. Alongside his daughter, Linkie Raubenheimer, and his wife, Tersia Labuschagne, the Labuschagne family established the school with a clear purpose — to raise up educated, Bible-loving Christians who will carry the light of God’s truth into the world.
Our Mission
Our mission is to teach what the Bible truly says, helping believers grow in knowledge, faith, and understanding. We are committed to grounding every lesson in Scripture — not bending or altering the Word of God to fit opinions or trends, but teaching it faithfully and with conviction.
Lighthouse Christian School is not just a place of learning — it is a place of calling and preparation. We believe that true education leads to action, and that knowledge of God’s Word should stir the heart to share it. Our goal is to equip and send — raising disciples who will go out, boldly preach the Gospel, and make more disciples of Christ.
Our Beliefs
We believe that all truth comes from the Word of God, and that every person, no matter their background, culture, or walk of life, is welcome here. All are invited to come as they are — and to leave transformed through the saving power of Jesus Christ.
We are unapologetic believers in the Bible and in Christ’s lordship. While we embrace people with love and grace, we do not compromise the truth of Scripture. Our calling is to teach the Bible as it is written and to encourage all who learn here to live it out with courage, humility, and joy.
